There are many ways of exfoliating the skin. Our medically based chemical peels are designed to rapidly exfoliate the skin for a fresher complexion faster than with just using traditional skin care. We offer different levels of chemical peels that are chosen by our skin care specialist. Gone are the days of just glycolic peels, we utilize combinations of mild acids to achieve maximum results, tailored for your specific needs. After consultation and evaluation, a regimen is chosen with your best outcome in mind. Peels are performed to improve fine lines, promote healthy cells with better clarity and texture, improve acne and sun damage, while smoothing the overall complexion. Our treatments range from the mildest “lunch time” peel to the more aggressive TCA and salicylic peels for the treatment of acne scarring and for light resurfacing. The Obagi blue peel is very effective on darker complexions and ethnic skins, which may not be good candidates for other treatments. It also lifts out stubborn hyperpigmentation and tightens the skin. Most peels work best when completed in a series.
