Hailey van Zijl

Medical Assistant

Hailey joined the Denver Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics team as a Medical Assistant after nearly 15 years in general practice, surgical, and emergency veterinary medicine. She is excited to bring her extensive clinical experience and passion for patient care into the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

A graduate of PIMA Medical Institute, Hailey developed a strong foundation in compassionate, detail-oriented care while working in fast-paced emergency and operating room environments. Her transition into human medicine allows her to combine her love of surgery with her desire to help patients feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. She finds great fulfillment in both reconstructive and aesthetic procedures and is proud to be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional care and beautiful, natural-looking results.

Outside of the office, Hailey enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves traveling whenever she can. She and her husband, whom she married in October 2025, visit the Netherlands each year to spend time with his family. Inspired by these trips, she is currently learning Dutch and enjoys immersing herself in the culture. At home, she stays active with hiking, paddleboarding, Pilates, yoga, and weightlifting. She and her husband also share their home with two dogs and two cats who keep life entertaining and full of love.
