Avoid products containing any exfoliating agents (retinoic acid, tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, astringents, etc.) for 48-72 hours before treatment.
Avoid hair removal 1 week prior to treatment.
If you have a history of cold sores, we recommend a course of antiviral medication pre and post treatment.
Do not have a chemical peel if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or allergic to any of its ingredients.
Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks post treatment.
Redness and/or swelling are common and should resolve within 1 week.
Avoid heat, saunas, hot tubs and strenuous activity until skin is healed.
24 hours after treatment, apply sunscreen.
You may apply makeup once your skin has stopped aggressively peeling.
To avoid scarring, scabbing and/or bleeding, avoid picking at treated areas.
After this peeling phase, your skin may look or feel like a mild windburn for the next 2 to 3 days.
